Bet Havarim will not conduct a service in August. The services are held monthly on the 3rd Friday except in August. The next event will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005 for a Retreat which will focus on Bet Havarim's future direction and will be facilitated by Bill Redfield. The Retreat will be held at Alverna Heights, Fayetteville located off Route 290, near Green Lakes State Park. The discussion period will begin at 2 p.m. Following the discussion, a Havdalah service will be held. The retreat will end with a BBQ dinner beginning at 5:00 PM.

Bet Havarim's High Holiday Committee also announced that Rabbi Deborah Waxmanwill be returning to conduct Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services on October 3rd and 4th, 12th and 13th. High Holiday services will be conducted at St.David's Church in Dewitt. Rabbi Waxman currently serves as Vice President for Governance at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Wyncote, PA. "We are excited about Rabbi Waxman's returning to Bet Havarim to conduct our High Holiday services for the third year," announced High Holiday committee chairperson, Toni Meltzer.
Bet Havarim's Shabbat services are conducted at St. David's Episcopal Church located in Dewitt on Jamar Drive. At the intersection of Maple Drive and East Genesee St. in Dewitt (across from Wegmans) proceed on Maple Dr. to the 3rd right turn on Jamar Dr. Off street parking is available and St.David's is handicapped-accessible.

St. David's Church is located on Jamar Drive. From the intersection off Maple Drive and E. Genesee St. in Dewitt (across from Wegman's) drive south on Maple Drive and take the third right turn on to Jamar Drive. The Church is located at the end of Jamar Drive with off-street parking available. St. David's is handicapped accessible.
